• Where has my reading habit gone? It stops since the day I started my post-grad study 3 years ago that I spent more time reading academic materials... And ever since I graduated about a year ago, that I of course stop reading text books/journals immediately, I didn't repick the reading habit again! Instead I spent my free time on movies & variety shows... Well ~ it's time for me to pick up the good reading habit again. There are a few books in my shelf collecting dust now, and there are many more that I wish to read too. But.. but.. but.. there are also many chapters of manga that I'd missed and would like to catch up; and.. and.. and.. also weekly dose of Running Man.. somemore.. somemore.. ahem... time has never been enough!

• One day, Little Sun was asking me for help. I teased him that I can help provided he admits himself being a "LuLu". Without pause, he said "I'm LuLu". I felt amused and kept my promise of course. However, right after I helped him the task... With his evil grin, he said "Papi is LuLu"... leaving wife and I dumbfounded for quite a while!

• I don't mind a little bit of stress at work because it keeps my hamban'ness to move sometimes. However I'm feeling like a bit over due to the recent task force. At one point, I feel that I'm talking to my US counterpart more than talking to my wife in a day! Oh well ~ will keep myself strong until all of this is over ~ *hwaiting*!!!

• The only reason for our existence is the value that we still possess. So in order to survive, we must continue to show the value-added capability, and continue to play the game by the rules that set by the bills payer. 

• Today Little Sun surprised us by singing "twinkle-twinkle little star" with each verse in 4 different languages, namely Malay, Mandarin, English and Tamil. Really laugh die us ~ similarly, he actually can recite the Rukun Negara in 3 different languages too, but all in his funny pronunciation.

• Feeling like a floating wood in the sea, there are lands nearby but I'm unable to reach any. Feel like I can do better in every aspect but always no ohm in putting any more effort... I think I need a compass...

• Have become a k-entertainment fan-boy recently. Not only I watch "Running Man" weekly, but have also followed two k-dramas - "He Who Came From The Stars" & "Emergency Couple" earlier this year. Some more I'm following k-pop and its news now, although tak paham a single word ~ haha... this topic can be expanded into a full entry in the future...

• Yearly update to my blog is not a bad idea ~ but I would rather maintain the 你估我不到 update pace... (basically I'm just lazy la ~ )

"Achievement" Unlocked!

• Fall asleep Eye lids closed automatically in front of my boss whom was talking in about 1m in front of me, and got pointed by her "Ha! How come you are sleep!?"
• Kept the whole team, including Malaysia ex-Boss and Boss' Boss from US, waiting in the meeting room for >20mins due to my lateness to the office.

For sure I have more... but workplace wise, these are definitely my top 2 right now! This list must stop here!

《小太阳》
不知不觉小太阳上了两个月的课了。
自从上学后，可以看到很明显的学习进度~真让我们欣慰啊！

说活有条有理~随时出乎意料，有时还会杀个我和小老鼠面面相觑！

读写方面还是有待进步~但是唱歌就一定是他的兴趣了！

除了儿歌，最不能顶的是什么什么 “爱到极度疯狂”，“就这样爱你爱你爱你，随时都要一起”，“I love you baby”，“你存在，我深深的脑海里”，“Rasa Sayang”, 还有很爱国的“Jalur Gemilang”，“Tanggal31”，“Saya anak Malaysia”～搞到我和小老鼠都变成爱国者了！



《学业》
赶呀赶，终于准时的交上了论文，也顺利地通过 viva ！Yeah！！
我想啊~也真的该为自己的学业生涯暂时告一个段落了。

读书和考试的过程我倒是非常享受的~毕竟是自己喜欢做，也是擅长的事情。
苦的其实是不太能兼顾工作和家庭。

所以啊，左想右想，next level 就只有等老老时再进行了！

我还说笑的和小老鼠说我要等到小太阳上大学了，我才和他报考同一个大学，然后成为他的大学roommate ~

尽管如此，学还是无止境，甚至不进则退，所以接下来我还是会坚持着秉着终身学习的态度！（写下来警惕自己的）


《工作》
为了解决一堆大便，而制造了另一堆大便，显掉~
也刚刚经历了周末加班，加倍显掉！

接下来要为新岗位好好加油啦~ Fighting！


《Big Project 2.0》
三十而立，算算一下，我好像有点迟了，但迟开始好过还没开始！加油了！
接下来的一年就忙这个了！Fighting！

哈哈，小老鼠的妹妹copy给我的，不看则已，看了现在欲罢不能！

今天坐在车上的时候...

“孩子啊，明天就投票了，这一票是为了你而投的~知道吗？”

[... ... 妈咪，爸比跟谁讲话？] 不到四岁的小太阳问道。

“你说呢？” 小老鼠反问。

[空气！对吗？] 小太阳说罢咧嘴微笑~

“去投票！” 小老鼠回。

《工作》

很忙很忙，有点压力。

算过了，如果想在五年里让薪水翻倍，那就得每年increment至少15%

但是根据这几年来公司的吝啬程度，同事们都说不如到外找空头算了。

也对啦，我也不知为了什么自己拿粪来自抹~可能嫌自己太香吧！

很想证明些什么，但是在本身没有什么料的情况下，只能用“如履冰上”来形容。

《学业》

本该在四月尾交上我论文的 first draft，但到现在还在难产中~

我本该现在夜以继日地赶论文，但是工作上遇到麻烦，人又突然间懒惰一下~

又一直一直给自己借口一下：工作忙啦，周末本该好好休息啦，五月五要关心一下啦~

实在没有借口了，就写 blog 一下啦~ 呵呵~

已经好到不能嫌了

某一天早上，老鸟出门上课前，去菜市场帮小老鼠买了：两包肉丸，一根葱，一包老鼠粉，一包小辣椒。怎知道过了两天...

[我问你，那一天你买的东西多少钱？]

“RM8.80 ”

[什么？为什么你没问清楚？这么贵？我算来算去都不可能这么贵啊！你以为赚钱容易啊？我们是消费者，有权利问的！没有提醒你就不会问，有没有脑啊？ xxx xxx xxx 以下重复性连骂十五分钟 -- 略过 xxx xxx xxx ] 

接下去老鸟也是很火爆，所以略过~

也是某一天，要出门前老鸟冲一个凉，出来后...

[我不明白你为什么冲一个凉需要到十分钟那么久？我一个女人冲凉也没有用这么长的时间啊!]

“... ... ”  老鸟苦笑（十分钟很正常吧？）

同样的还是某一天 ... ... 这样的例子太多太多，所以略过~

老鸟把这些都怪罪于小老鼠的超级严重毫没理由完美主义，谁叫小老鼠是处女座的。
阿Q的想一想，老鸟应该是好到没有什么可以被嫌了，所以才拿这些有的没的来批评 ^_^ V

老鸟其实担心的是小太阳，小老鼠这么 变态 要求完美，担心小太阳会压力的喘不过气来~

可以想象当小太阳拿了一张99分的成绩单回来时，小老鼠也许会...

[ 为什么不是120分？你老妈我小时候都是拿130分的！你有问老师为什么扣你一分吗？你是学生来的，不懂的你就要问！你以为做妈妈的看到你拿99分会开心吗？老师扣你一分就要和他讨回两分~老师有扣你的同学分吗？你没有问还是你不知道？都和你说了，不知道就要问... ... ...]

人生又有多少个五年？

其中一个常常在 interview 的时候听到的问题是 - How do you see yourself in 5 years time?

老鸟听到过的“标准”答案大多都是 “become a manager” 或者 “become a technical team lead” 等等的伟大志向 ~  成几何时，老鸟还是菜鸟的时候也曾经梦想 “伟大” 过~ 那时候就只差没有想要征服全世界而已！

五年的时间真的是眼睛眨两下就过去了。相比五年前，老鸟变了吗？

外表上，老鸟就只有头上的毛发不举了！

多年来让老鸟引以为傲的双眼看东西的时候也变得朦朦的，看任何东西都增添了一份朦胧美，所以多了副眼镜！

脸颊，还是一样没有几两肉，难怪发来发去都还没有轮到老鸟啦！

心智上呢？应该变成熟了吧！但偶尔还是会和小太阳一起比幼稚啦 ^_^ （辛苦小老鼠了）

人生又有多少个五年？五年五年又五年，希望下一个五年老鸟还在这里 post 上鸟样，写写鸟话吧！

”吓死人~“

今天小太阳差一点就跌到了，还好平衡能力还不差的他稳得住脚。

就在我和小老鼠松一口气的时候，小太阳突然爆出一句“吓死人！”

顿时让我们还没松完的气又被倒抽回去，一家三个人嘎嘎嘎的笑不停~

Digi's Ad for 55th Mederka

31号那天翻了翻报纸，就看到了很多国内大企业国庆日的广告祝语。 

看了这么多，让我感到兴趣的其实是 Digi 的~

这是一大篇的漫画，描述的是我国的“文化”。 

仔细一看，颇觉玩味，所以决定po上来分享分享~

说到“文化”，当然就少不了三大民族啦~

首先，就在篇幅的正中间，就是华人的：有舞狮，饮胜，还有“浪奔，浪流”这首经典名曲~

然后，在左边就看到印度人的：寺庙，游行，舞蹈，音乐~

右边也看到了马来人和穆斯林的：婚礼，礼拜... 还有因为礼拜而车到处乱放！

看到了好好吃的rendang，还有东马的土著的文化~ 标榜着 Satu Malaysia 的精神！

作者也很用心，看到这个就想到 “叮叮糖” -- 我妈说这就是他们的年代的糖果~

Musang King -- Gerenti Power！也很写实。

也看到了 “收旧报纸” 

接下去的才是精彩的地方...

看到 Yellow Man 的后面吗？一个女人大叫“tolong”，因为被那个骑电单车的给抢了~

看到这里我不禁笑了，何时抢钱包也成了我国的 “文化” 哦？

接下去看到了这个：繁华的大城市里到处塞车，而原因就是那几个要钱的 Toll ~ 

这“文化”的描述 -- 写实得可怕！

再来~ “boleh tolong ke?” 这个理所当然不可缺少啦！一马的精神就是 “你帮我，我帮你”的嘛~

就连首相都常说“You help me, I help you” 的哦~

我用了很主观的角度去看这篇漫画，你又觉得怎样呢？

今天和小太阳 Facetime 的时候，突然间他杀出一句：

“你爱我吗?”

我和小老鼠停顿了 0.45 秒，然后狂笑着说“爱爱爱!!!”

哈哈哈...

Student. Oh! Student...

I'm now officially a student... again :)

There will be 3 registration days in a row and based on the very first day of observations, I found out that:

1. There are a lot of foreign students (especially from middle east, can tell from their facial features) taking post grad studies in Malaysia.
2. Female students are far far far more than male students, probably because this campus doesn't have engineering courses.
3. There are not many Chinese students going for registration today. It's either they choose to register in next 2 days, or the takers are really lesser compare to other races...
4. The efficiency of the registration officers is expectedly low, it took me >4 hours to complete my registration; however there is still credits given to those officers who were willing to delay their lunch...
   

Well, will start to kill my brain cells next week onwards... bless me ~~

生日快乐，亲爱的小老鼠

前几天 Gator 介绍我一间麻辣火锅店，而小老鼠就是那种吃tomyam也要放小辣椒的kaki... 所以我决定带她到这间火锅店尝尝。

这间名为《家乡》的麻辣火锅店卖的是重庆菜。然后我们随意点的是中等麻辣等级的“干锅田鸡”。

味道不错，很咸，很油，很辣，还有很麻... 不过小老鼠依旧参着小辣椒来吃，服啊！

吃着吃着...

江边鸟：重庆在哪里啊？

小老鼠：我知道！王菲的hometown咯~

江边鸟：那只是一套《重庆森林》的电影啦~王菲的hometown在北京！

小老鼠：呵呵呵... *腼腆的微微笑*

这就是我的小老鼠：一点小糊涂，一点小天真，深得我喜爱。

生日快乐，亲爱的小老鼠！

一些值得记录下来的小动作

1. 拍手。
2. 懂得什么是嘴巴，头发，牙齿，鼻子，耳朵，手，脚。
3. 拍拍我的手掌当我说 "Give me 5"。
4. 今天学会了骑电动摩哆车
5. 前天才发现他对镁光灯很sensitive，不管是在哭还是发呆的时候，只要看到镁光灯，就会朝灯的方向假假的傻笑。
6. 会四脚爬爬，走，快走（还不会跑），和喜欢爬楼梯。
7. 会叫“爸比”，妈咪，爷爷等等。
8. 看到我们拿车钥匙的时候会说拜拜，然后送飞吻；如果没有带他出门就会大哭。
9. 会拿起尿桶，说ngm ngm，接着把尿桶盖在头上。
10. 只要车走动的时候就会静静的眼观前方，不管我们和他说什么也不理睬；当车停着的时候，就会开始好动。
11. 听到有节奏的音乐会跳舞。
12. 会打我 -- 当妈妈叫他打爸爸。
13. 会sayang家人，sayang 的举动包括头碰头和轻吻脸颊。
14. 最喜欢拿起电话就叽里咕噜的说不停，可以说上15分钟。
15. 当我说某样东西，会看着那个东西。例如：风扇，新年时我们挂上的大吉大利灯笼，等等。
16. 会拿起笔写“一”，然后看着我们拍手。
17. 会把两块megablock拼起来，然后看着我们拍手。
18. 会按两下钢琴键，然后看着我们拍手。
19. 今天教会了他指出粘在“门”和“冰橱”上的flash card。
20. 想要的时候，就会往挂着 pacifier 的摇篮走和看去，示意我们拿给他。
21. 即使很累了也不想睡觉，如果硬逼就会大哭。
22. 喜欢拿着talking pen来读书。
23. 会把玩具收在箱子里，然后又拿出来。
24. 会嘴巴动动，假装吃东西。
25. 我们吃东西的时候会靠过来要一份，不给就哇哇叫（这简直是强盗的行为）。
26. 可以看到他开始学我们说话，所以我说话要比较小心了，切记，切记...
27. 当看到海盗船长呵呵笑的时候，也会跟着哈哈笑。
28. 当听到talking Tom放屁声的时候，也会模仿“噗”的一声。
29. 当我们说“美美”，就会拿梳子来梳头。
    

其实有很多，想到了会记录下来 :)

Good-bye, my friend...

I knew him since F1, and continue to be in the same class until F4, the year which we sat side-by-side, kap lui together, copied the same homework, shared the same foul words... etc...

He was once a colleague of mine in the same company too. I saw him for a couple of times in the company cafeteria about 2 years back when my dept moved to Kulim office. We didn't talk much, because I thought we can always keep contact thru company IM or phone. But now I regret it as we didn't really talk much after the cafe-meet-up which unexpectedly turned out to be our last meeting.

He had always been a faithful friend who always provided his supports whenever I needed it as well as a cheerful friend who never failed to brighten my days back in high school time. Although he was not the center of the attraction in a group, but I always enjoyed his company because his unique way of jokes always surprised me and tickled my funny bone from a different perspective.

I thought he had changed his dept/ company during the 2 years which I hadn't seen him round... Never thought that his absence was mainly due to Leukemia treatment... and at the end the illness took him away forever, before I have a chance to say good bye...

R.I.P. my friend... for you will always be missed...

• Some say I am HBK (Ham Ban King) -- because normally when I mention a time, it needs to be +100%. For example, let's go lunch in 10mins, then you should expect 10min + 10min = 20min. Another example would be the time to take to update my blog :p
  

What do you say?

两年前的今天

你一定会记得她的生日；你也应该会记得拍拖纪念日，注册纪念日，结婚周年纪念日等等；甚至有些情侣还会每一个月地庆祝相识纪念日~很够力的夸张。那么求婚纪念日呢？

很惭愧的，因为我原本是不记得的...

但我老婆就很厉害，选择了一个让我一辈子都不会忘记的“提醒方式” -- 结婚当天抢新娘的时候，她竟然把求婚日作为最后关卡，害我差一点娶不到新娘！

虽然不记得日期，但是那个过程却是历历在目的~
两年前的今天，忐忑的我就只是一束鲜花，求婚戒指也没有，众目睽睽的见证下跪地也没有，就这样在只有我们两个人的街灯下 -- 求婚了。

我想啊，如果时间能够倒流的话，我老婆一定不会说“yes”的 （因为她亏大本啦）！
但是我呢，无论你问我多少次，我还是会选择将爱进行到底！

如果我的老婆有看到这一篇的话（其实我会假假酱叫他来看的），我要和她说：

谢谢老婆，虽然我让你亏大本了，但我也一定一定会证明你的投资是不会让你后悔的。我不是一个浪漫的人，但我绝对是一个爱你的人。

最后就换我考一考她了：　去年的这个纪念日，我们去了哪里庆祝了呢？猜到今晚才能够去庆祝，猜不到就要吃自己，嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿...

重新出发？

呵呵，好久没有post了。原因无他，当然是因为-- 懒惰啦 很忙啦~

工作的时候必须忙着和同事打屁儿和喝茶；在家时也忙着逗孩子玩和带老婆出外走走；
剩下的个人空闲时间就只有在厕所里出恭的时候的短短几分钟！

如果有tablet的话，或许可以利用这短短几分钟来写几个“臭”字，但是我没有tablet，所以我大多数的时候我会选择看书。（换句话说，现在你们看到的并不是“臭”字 ^_^ ）

我常常在想，我将在什么情况下才会再次写blog呢？其中一个可能性是当我很闷的时候。

我的闷就是 -- 虽然有很多东西要做，却一点也不想做的时候！

就像是...

书橱里堆了几本没看过的书，但我还没有心理准备去读；
工作上明明知道该做些什么，但我还没有下决心去完成；
追了几年的漫画也早已更新，但我还没有培养情绪去看；
纵然很有战意和杀气玩dota，但一众kaki们却常常缺席；
孩子肚子饿哭了闹了发脾气，但... 我当然要乖乖地去泡牛奶啦！ (不然会中招...)

那今天这一篇呢，其实是我花了好几天一小段一小段（因为漫画一面一面的loading有点慢）写出来的哦，呵呵。

作为“复出”之作，算是这样啦！以后会常常update... 呱？

就只是想要写下来，今天是宝宝生平第一次...

... 咬破自己的嘴巴!

就用他那么唯一的一支牙齿也能咬破嘴，这种贪吃的精神应该是 来自小老鼠 天生的！

他哭得很厉害，我和小老鼠却笑翻了 ^^
